Professional registrations

Valuation standards
EDITABLE — where approved and verified, this section will state that valuations are undertaken in accordance with applicable Malaysian valuation standards and relevant international valuation principles. Wording remains subject to management review.
Professional memberships
EDITABLE — professional body memberships held by the firm and its professionals will be listed here once confirmed. No membership is claimed until verified.
Banking and panel relationships
EDITABLE — approved lender and valuation panel relationships will be listed here following management confirmation.
Independence and conflicts
Valuation instructions are accepted on the basis that the opinion of value follows the evidence and analysis. Where a conflict or potential conflict is identified, it is disclosed and addressed before work proceeds, and where necessary the instruction is declined.
Scope of work and reliance
Every valuation is prepared for a stated purpose, a stated party and a stated date. Reliance by other parties or for other purposes requires written consent, since a change of purpose can change the appropriate basis of value and the scope of investigation.
Estate agency and project marketing activities are undertaken through First Pacific Real Estate Sdn Bhd, a separate legal entity and professional function from the valuation practice conducted by First Pacific Valuers Property Consultants Sdn Bhd.
